Antique 9ct Yellow Gold Belcher Chain Necklace, 15.5 inches

An antique, early 1900s belcher chain in 9ct yellow gold. The chain is handmade and if you look closely at the links they have a slightly faceted appearance.

The chain has a dark patina, especially to the inside of the links. This is very common for 9ct gold of this era. 

The spring ring clasp appears to be a more recent addition.

Hallmarks: Has the old style of '9C' mark stamped onto a plate at the end of the chain.
