Antique Victorian 9ct Gold 'I CLING TO THEE' Ring, 1896

A rare to find, late Victorian sentimental 9ct gold ring with the words 'I cling to thee'. These rings represent everlasting love and are very collectible today.

Measurements: UK ring size between L 1/2 and M. US size between 5.75 and 7.

Width to front - 9mm

Weight: 2.3g

Hallmarks: The beginning of the makers mark is not visible but the remainder reads "Bros". The it is '9', '375', Birmingham, 'W' for 1896. 

Condition: The ring has two vertical repair lines, one to each side. It appears  that the ring has been re-shanked at some point. This will have been done some time ago as the surface wear matches a ring of this age. You can see the lines in the photos, but they are not noticeable when wearing. The ring still feels strong and stable and has plenty of life in it yet! The ring has been priced with condition in mind.
