Vintage 9ct Gold Smoky Quartz Cabochon Ring, Late 1970s

A lovely vintage cocktail ring in 9ct yellow gold with smoky quartz cabochon. 

Measurements:

On the ring sizer it measures a UK size N - it has a loose fit due to the curved back of the setting and feels more like size N 1/2.

US equivalent around a size 6.75. 

Stone size approx 13mm x 16mm.

Weight: 5.3g

Hallmarks: 'L&W', Crown, '375, Birmingham. The date letter is very worn but looks like 'C' for 1977, and from the style and construction it appears to be late 70s. 

Condition: Good vintage condition. Very light signs of wear to the stone surface under magnification, but nothing noticeable by eye.
